Co-workers and Colleagues Do It Again… to Support One of Their OwnDATES: March 07, 2016
From February 29 through March 4, 2016 donations were collected by Liz Iams, Custodial Project Manager and on March 4, 2016 Alison Petrie, CIF Project Manager spearheaded a meatball sub and bake sale to support Jackie Jones, 3 year Custodial Employee, who is experiencing a tragedy in her life based on the loss of her 6 week old baby “Benjamin”. Jackie is experiencing what nobody should have to, so her co-workers decided they wanted to assist her in any means possible. This simple idea grew into an event that couldn’t have been imagined by anyone. Through the efforts of custodial employees, dining employees, recycling employees, contract office employees, Career Connections employees, Production Unlimited employees, CIF employees, as well as DOD Civilians and Soldiers , a donation of $1183.00 dollars will be presented to Jackie to help offset expenses that she is accruing while away from work.
Thank you too all involved in this endeavor. The compassion for others, who most didn’t even know, shows what JRC employees are really about.
